TWO: House Blend Concert Series

Athens Area Council for the Arts (AACA) is pleased to announce the 2025-26 season opener with a concert of iconic duets in TWO, Friday, August 8, 2025, at 7:00 PM. “TWO,” is directed by G. David Brown. 

G. David Brown has brought audience favorites like “Evening with the Stars” and “‘64 - ‘71: The Music of a Changing World,” and last year’s “ONE.” So it’s no surprise, the next number on his list would be “TWO.”

TWO is twice as good as one in this concert featuring a collection of duets from compelling folk tunes to show-stopping ballads.

Singers will be backed up by The Arts Center’s house band, September Song led by Andrew Kimball, on guitar, and including Kyle Littleton, on lead guitar, and Joe Littleton, with other guest instrumentalists to be announced soon.

All House Blend Concert Series shows are in the Sue E. Trotter Black Box Theater at The Arts Center. Tickets for this event are $20 for adults and $15 for students. This event is not catered.

All AACA programs are supported by City of Athens, Tennessee Arts Commission and premiere sponsors Willsonthropic, Inc. and Mintie C. Willson.
