Description
We are so excited to announce our next event: "Twilight Tales in Cedar Grove Cemetery" to be held on Sat. Nov. 15 from 4:00-6:00 PM. Join us to learn about the overlooked yet influential figures buried there as local historians and actors bring them to life for one night only! Each group will have a guide.
Tickets can be purchased with cash or a check at our office (107 W. College Street in Athens). $10 for adults and $5 for kids 12 and under. Call, email, or visit our website to reserve tickets. Parking will be in front of the McMinn County Schools Administration Building on S. Hill Street. A shuttle will take you to and from the cemetery less than a half-mile away.
NOTE: this tour includes walking on uneven terrain and around tombstones. If you wish to take a tour with more daylight, please attend between 4:00-5:00 PM.
