Description
The Food Hub at Main Street Athens is proud to announce the return of its Farmer’s Market, held every third Friday at 3B W College St in the heart of downtown Athens, Tennessee. The market takes place from 4–7 PM and is free and open to the public.
The Food Hub Farmer’s Market offers community members access to fresh, locally sourced produce, organic goods, and natural ingredients from vendors right in their own backyard. The market is designed to connect Athens residents with the people who grow and make their food, supporting local agriculture and small businesses in the process.
“We believe in the power of community, and the Farmer’s Market is one of the best ways we can bring people together around good food and local commerce,” said Maggie Aird, Kitchen & Events Manager at The Food Hub. “We’re excited to grow our vendor family and give even more local producers a platform to share what they do.”
The Food Hub is actively seeking new vendors for upcoming markets. Local farmers, bakers, food producers, and artisan makers are encouraged to apply. Vendor spots are available on a market-by-market basis, and the application process is simple and straightforward.
